Is there a larger size of Babybel cheese?
The sale of Babybel’s Canadian ancestor, the larger Babybel, was discontinued several years ago. There are no plans to sell that format again for now.

What is Babybel doing for the environment?
Rest assured that protecting the environment is one of our company’s main concerns. Specialists are always working on improving the sustainability and recycling ability of our packaging.
This is one of the reasons why we started a partnership with Terracycle, allowing the recycling of as many Babybel packaging components as possible, including the Mini Rolls and Plant-Based product packaging. Therefore, each component of Babybel’s packaging has its own function and they’re all essential to safeguard the freshness of our cheese:
— Babybel’s protective wax coating forms a protective barrier around the cheese and functions as a crust in all respects.
— The cellophane wrapper around our cheese, originating from certified forests, is essential for two reasons. On one hand, it serves to fully protect the cheese, preventing damage to the wax as a result of stacking or bumping. On the other hand, it prevents the wax from sticking when you take the cheese with you as a snacking option or during picnics, which is essential for single servings. To help reduce waste, our cellophane is compostable! You can therefore drop it into your own compost bin.
— As for the net, it holds the small cheeses together in one pack: along with plastic wrap, it is the most economical method.
— Finally, we use 100% recycled cardboard for the delivery of our cheeses from our Canadian factory.
